Description
Cat diesel generator set on a steel skid: a 4-cylinder Cat 1004-4 engine driving a Mecc Alte 60 kVA single-phase alternator, 120/240 V at 60 Hz. The Murphy engine protection panel shows 944 hours on the meter. A practical size for a greenhouse range, shop or farm building on a single-phase service.

Controls
Murphy Automatic Engine Protection System panel (made in Canada) with water temperature and oil pressure Swichgages, battery ammeter, key start, start-override push button and a Faria hour meter. An AC voltmeter and frequency meter sit on the alternator terminal box.
Good to know
- Genset kW rating to confirm. The alternator is rated 60 kVA. The photos do not include the generator set’s own rating plate, so no kW claim from us. Call and we will read it.
- US emissions label. The engine label states it is not certified to US federal non-road or California off-road emission standards, so in the United States it can only be sold or installed for stationary use (40 CFR 89.2). The label applies to US installations only.
