We buy and sell used greenhouse equipment across Southwestern Ontario. Before that, we grew in it — which is the short version of why this business exists.

What we actually do

When a range is demolished, converted, or simply upgraded, the equipment coming out of it is usually worth far more than scrap and far less than new. We buy that equipment, inspect it, photograph it as it sits, and sell it to growers who would rather spend twenty thousand dollars than two hundred.

Why our descriptions list the faults

Because you will find them anyway, and you will find them after you have paid for delivery. Every listing on this site names what is wrong with the item as well as what is right. If a set of heaters needs two controllers sourced separately, that sentence is in the description, not in a phone call after the invoice.

It costs us some sales. It has also meant that most of our business now comes from growers who bought from us once.

Loading, delivery and viewing

Loading from our yard is free and we have the equipment to do it without damaging what you just bought. Delivery anywhere in Southwestern Ontario is quoted before you commit. Anything large — a grading line, a structure for relocation — we would rather you came and looked at in person, and we will make the time.

What we are looking for

We buy continuously. If you are decommissioning a range or replacing a system, call before you call the scrap dealer.
