Description
Allen-Bradley PowerFlex 40 variable frequency drive with the integral keypad — four-digit LED display, RUN / FWD / REV indicators, selectable Volts / Amps / Hertz readout, speed potentiometer and start, reverse and stop keys. Mounted on its heatsink bracket as pictured.
Ratings to confirm. The nameplate is on the side of the drive and is not visible in the photograph, so we are not going to quote you a horsepower or a supply voltage we have not read. Call and we will pull it off the plate before you commit — it takes a minute and it matters, because a PowerFlex 40 ships in everything from sub-1 hp single-phase to 15 hp three-phase.
Condition: used and dusty. Scuffs on the cover, a film of grime on the keypad membrane, and it still carries the masking-tape “FEEDER 1” label from whatever it used to run. We have not powered it up, so it is sold unfired rather than tested.
Why a grower wants one: putting a VFD on circulation fans, an irrigation pump or a vent motor lets you run at part speed instead of cycling full-on and full-off. On fans in particular it is one of the better energy retrofits available, because power draw falls away far faster than speed does.
Sold as-is. Installation by a licensed electrician.
